Artist's Comments

It's not easy fitting in a normal sized guy taking of a guy the size of Galactus... but I did it!

woohoo

And I think it looks pretty cool to boot.

Great pose and composition. Nice job, Ed.

The pose of the big monolith guy is epic, and the coloring and special effects are impressive. The size difference isn't quite as convincing though; maybe if the big man were at a more extreme perspective to really push that height difference. The "eye level" of the scene would need to be lower.

But yeah, this does indeed look pretty cool.

I agree a bit with Dualmask... maybe put some mountains in front of Rularuu, and/or make Erudin blast the foe, and we get to see just how tiny the blast gets by the time it reaches the big bad. Somethign that makes it obvious "Crap, this dude is FIFTY STORIES tall!"

However, none of that bugs me because this peice is made of awesome. I mean it! The poses and coloring are superb and it's a pleasure to look at!

I agree with what's been said about the size difference, but I'd also like to mention that the giant doesn't quite fit onto the background because he is detailed and yet the scenery in front of him is blurred. Perhaps that also contributes to the problematic size difference. But overall, I think you did very well with this picture. I like the illumination on the smaller man's body. :)
