I'm thinking if you 'wrap' the text around him, like you can to a picture in Microsoft Word, you may be able to fit in the remaining paragraphs. Though if you want the straight columns, you could also try shrinking the font just a point or two, and though it isn't a big difference, it might free up enough space since it'll be shrinking a lot of text.
