"In March we finished a storyline for revolving around the disappearance of Liberty Bowman, this storyline was also to herald Kadekawa's going away. Kadekawa is one of the most generous people I know and he's probably one of the best people I've met. He always goes out of his way to help others, sometimes to his own detriment, and his loss as an active member of the Virtue Community, while perhaps not as loud, has been felt. He was the kind of guy who was always lending a hand, and I really can't think of a better giftto give him other then an art piece to commemorate his signature character's final mission. In a joint covert operation to deal with the growing threat of the Arachnos WEB project, the Shinsengumi 6th Squadron, JTFHero, SIS and Shinsengumi's covert ops group Archon X formed a strike force to infilitrate Arachnos and disrupt the project. The project was lead by Major Disorder of JTFHero and orchestrated on the ground by Ava Mannheim with combat support from Shigetaka Kadekawa, Kazushige Iwase, Xian Ishii, Sir England and Sonore Defenseur and logistical support from Prototype Eve. They arrived in Grandville under cover of night in Arachnos disguises and infilitrated the web factory, destroying anything they could find. They were however discovered unluckily by Arbiter Sands but manage to salvage the operation. Over a tense several hours and after much fighting they managed to successfully dismantle the WEB and take out Recluse and his Lt's with Kadekawa delivering the deciding blow to Recluse himself. (True story actually he got the kill shot.) With the original exit compromised, the team split, Kadekawa, Iwase, and Ishii formed a distraction team that boarded a helicopter, their goal was to keep Arachnos busy. At the same time Ava and her team in the isles moved to extract the VIPs (Major Disorder and Sir England) and the others safely to the Archon X facility before returning to Paragon. The distraction worked, and Arachnos honed in on the helicopter and laid chase. The helicopter was destroyed leaving the commander and two Shinsengumi directors MIA. Iwase and Ishii, both mutants with extraordinary regenerative skills would both show up in the Isles during the exhaustive search by Ava's team. However the body of Kadekawa, who aside from his power armor is quite human, was never recovered and he is assumed dead. The whole incident was reported to the public as a tragic accident with the helicopter and the entire operation remains in the realm of deniability. " Some great thought went into this piece... so I spent a lot of time trying to figure it all out. I hope it appears like a freeze-frame from an animated movie or something. -Juggy |

I think you hit the effect you were going for.

The road goes ever on and on...
My only comment is that, with the way that Recluse's claws are positioned, you can't really see the face of the hero delivering the final blow. I don't know if this was by design or what, but it makes it a little hard to identify him.
Otherwise though, you hit the nail on the head as far the effect goes.
