Juggertha - Leap

Ok, I'm trying something different with this one... and frustrating the heck out of myself with it. I know I can draw (not amazing, but I can). And I know I can color (again with the amazing bit)... but why the heck can't I get a solid INK line!?!?!

This was all done in Photoshop and I need help. Anyone looking at this, any idea why my lines look like they are shredded? I mean, I know I have some crosshatching that is erratic, but even my solid base lines seem fiberous. Not only that, but i can't see to get a decent look to this. It is unfishied right now and I am looking for advice...

What can I do to make my lines better?

I'm kind of done with this (for now). I think that I really just don't know what I am doing when it comes to inking. Where should the heavy lines be, where should they taper off, ect..
