So, I've been a tad quiet on here of late. You'll notice that a lot of my recent work has been sans colours... basically just trying to work on my anatomy... both artistically, and in real life.

About 9 years ago I herniated a disk, and it basically wrecked me for a very long time. I thought that resting would make it better, but it didn't - it made it worse. Twice a year I'd be laid up with so much pain that I couldn't function... and with me turning 40 in a bit, I decided I'd best be doing something about it.

So, I'm back in the gym. Back lifting again... and working on MY anatomy. It feels great.

If you're bored, feel free to check out some of my youtube vids on how I lift - but keep in mind I'm still about 40 lbs off of my best condition.

Now, if only I can find a way to balance both exercise, and long stints of sitting and drawing.

Let's hope 2013 let's me figure that out.

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

Hey buddy, I feel we are in the same boat but with different paddles. I am 38 and overweight and devolped type 2 diabetes over the past few years. Unemployment and stress were my downfall
So I have slowly been trying to get back into shape. So I am too am working on my art and my body and I have developed something I call "Power Hour"

I walk 1 mile with the help of some you tube videos and that normally takes 20 minutes, 30 if you count the cool down. And then I focus 30 mins on sketching, and what ever project I am working on.

I am working my way up to starting p90x next month but I feel breaking it down to a designated hour a day just works wonders
